Keeping up with the tradition of Aukey producing some real quality devices comes this HDMI Ethernet Extender.
The kit arrives well presented.
Inside the box are the two extender devices, two power supplies, the instruction manual and some fixing plates and screws.
You don’t really need the manual to be fair as these are pretty straight forward.
Essentially you plug the power in to each device, link them with Cat5e Ethernet cable and then connect the transmitter in to an HDMI output and the receiver in to an HDMI input.
Transmitting over a range of 196ft (60M) this kit is ideal for transmitting some local content to a remote device.
For example if you have a screen in a shop window and wish to present video from a Blu-ray.
Or maybe you have a sky box in your living room and want to transmit a TV signal to your kitchen without the need for sky multi-room.
The units are very well made and will last a long time.
More importantly the quality of the signal is superb and you wont tell the difference between having a display plugged directly in to a source or via these extenders.
